Earth Day Poster

I was suppose to make a text heavy poster based off of the artwork from the Into The Woods poster.  They also wanted the image to be the border.  This is what I came up with.

Into The Woods

For the into the woods poster I was to base my poster around the artwork of Arlene Braithwaite.  I liked most of the poster.  I don't like how some of the logos turned out at the bottom but there isn't much you can do when the logos are low quality jps.

Little Women

Little Women Poster
   For the poster we decided to shoot four antique dolls on a truck to represent the four main girls.  We originally were going to photograph the actors in their costumes but the costumes were not ready so the dolls we the solution.  I really liked how this poster turned out.  It really helped being able to go to the photo shoot and to set up the layout the way I wanted it for the poster.

Jazz Band Concert

For this jazz band poster I wanted to mimic so of the older jazz band posters. I really liked all the distressed looks of the old posters and the silhouettes of the people. That was my inspiration for this poster.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get these things posted. I was having trouble getting the images to upload and I thought that I had broken blogger. Apparently, however, you just can't upload pdf's onto blogger they have to be jpegs. A user problem not the website. Now I have posted everything I have worked on up to present.
Sorry again, one day I will figure out how to use blogger.
